Run a live class

Live teaching starts from the meeting on your schedule—not from the lesson editor. Only some meeting types offer a live start.

    Open the meeting on your schedule

    Go to Teaching → Schedule and select the meeting you’re about to teach.

    Start when the meeting is live or broadcast

    If it’s a live class, choose Start live class. If it’s a broadcast, choose Go live. Follow the prompts to teach from your browser or your usual streaming setup.

    Teach while students join

    Stay in the live room for the session. Students can join once you’re live, using Join live class on their schedule.
