Set up your programmes

Start here when you’re setting up your school in Academqo for the first time. You’ll create the programmes you offer, add a school year, and open the classes your teachers will run.

    Add your programme types

    Open Settings and choose Programme types. Add the kinds of programme you run — a diploma track or a short course, for example — so you can pick one when you create a programme.

    Create a programme

    Go to Programmes and choose New programme. Give it a clear name and save. This is the umbrella for every year you offer that programme.

    Add a school year

    Open the programme, go to Versions, and choose Add version. Set the academic year with its start and end dates, so your scheduling stays inside the right window.

    Create a class

    Go to Classes and choose New class. Pick the year you just added and assign at least one teacher. Every class gets its own schedule and its own students.

  5. 5

    Finish the setup when you’re ready

    Back on the programme you can set entry requirements and start enrolling students. Invite people from Staff and Students whenever your school is ready for them.
